Location: On the Ship

ON:

Captain Jackson Wells was uneasy. The landing party was gone and he was unable to even talk with them. What would happen now was out of his control, not something he did well.

"Lt. Mann, do you have fix on the shuttle?"

"Sir, I did until they landed but now I am not certain we should keep scanning for them. That might give away our position to some Klingon patrol--and that is not something we want to do. Sir, we are still picking up the pieces from the last issue we had."

Nodding, he answered, "Very well."

Turning to McKenzie, Wells said,

"Lt. Logan you have the center chair. I will be heading down to engineering. Let me know if sensors find any signs of Klingons."

"Yes sir." He said.

The ship hung in space like an object ready to hit...but no one knew what was going on...not really. It had been sometime since the landing party left the ship but they were maintaining radio silence, and the ship felt quiet.
