So Long, Babel

Our "routine" visit to Babel was anything but. The crew performed admirably under less than ideal conditions. I'll formally recognize several crew members, including Ensign Odonnel and Lieutenant Mitchell. Lieutenant Ryan, on the other hand, showed exemplary ability on this mission. Often operating unsupervised, he was able to keep a cool head and make decisions normally left to those of a higher rank. I've asked Starfleet to award him a commendation for his efforts. I know the red tape sometimes ties these things up for awhile, but hopefully we'll have an answer before too long.
