USS Montana Canon Parameters

For this Sim, Cannon will be defined as anything appearing on screen in:

Star Trek the original live action series;

Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan;

Star Trek III: The Search for Spock;

Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home.

With the following exceptions:

1. ST:TMP never happened but Captain Kirk completed a second five year mission;

2. James T. Kirk is demoted Commodore at the end of ST:IV and is sent off on a third and final five year mission which will overrun and end around the same time as the last movie featuring Kirk (2293).

Yes, his five year mission ending in 2293 makes his last five year mission run about six years but you know, sometimes things run long. Many of the key deviations are detailed in the sim wiki, and since we are currently in 2289 what might happen in 2293 or even 2290 for that matter is unknown.

3. Sulu is promoted to Captain of the Excelsior at the end of STIV.

Plus anything posted during play (especially the Wiki) unless it gets rescinded with a notice from the Captain who is currently Captain RS Harrison.
