| General Overview | Fiona hadn't truly known her mother, Jan, who had died in a shuttle accident when Fiona was only around two years of age. Raised by her father, Kevin, and her older sister, Alice, Fiona had become accustomed to contributing to her family from a young age. This included helping with cooking, housekeeping, and other duties to support her father. Keen to live outside of a domestic setting, Fiona was driven from a very young age to study hard, with her ambitions set on exploring the unknown. Knowing that her late mother taught in linguistics, Fiona was inspired to follow in her mother's career footsteps. |

| Personal History | Growing up relatively fast, Fiona harnessed adult responsibilities from a young age. This left her with little time for making new friends, or for going out. To date, this has snowballed in her desire to go clubbing, dancing, drinking, and even experimenting with substances. Majoring in Communications and Linguistics at the Academy, most of Fiona's time was spent studying. Some of her peers deemed her as taking herself too seriously, often engrossed in spending most of her time studying when she wasn't helping around the house. She did, however, have a very small circle of friends with whom she would spend her spare time. But, not that she would admit, she does regret not having made more time for them during her time at the Academy when time permitted. She also worked part-time as a personal assistant to a J.A.G in Starfleet to a Vulcan named Yehenik. As their rapport developed, the pair began dating. Fiona, who was age 21 at the time, dated Yehenik, who was age 65, during her final year at the Academy. Yehenik was her first proper boyfriend. Through him, she experienced various Vulcan cultural customs, and became an avid reader of their texts. Fiona also supported Yehenik during his time of Pon farr, and engaged in passionate intimacy during this time, which is when she lost her virginity. Fiona and Yehenik broke up on amicable terms due to Fiona wanting to pursue a career off-planet. Yehenik was supportive of this and, additionally, offered to remain loyal to Fiona while she was serving a ship. She kindly declined, knowing that she herself would struggle to remain loyal to Yehenik. |
