As a way of making these memories tangible, Seth has faithfully recreated his uncle’s workshop via a holodeck programme. He spends much of his time in this holodeck programme, tinkering with and fixing various equipment.

Personal History Seth was born in York UK, to parents Nicholas and Amber Munro. Seth grew up as an only child.

Schooling
Seth did well in his schooling. He didn’t really make friends very easily, so decided from a young age that he would throw himself into his studies. He would often spend time at his uncle’s workshop helping to fix equipment. He found solace and a calmness within himself when he spent time at the workshop and spent most of his spare time there. He felt almost uncomfortable being around people when he felt particularly stressed or anxious about something. However, as he grew into adolescence he found that his tinkering with engineering parts progressed to an interest in medicine. They were similar fields in the sense that Seth things that were broken and enjoyed fixing them. He started reading medical journals every evening in his late teens, gathering that foundation of medical knowledge that would be beneficial to him throughout his career.

Starfleet Academy
The natural progression for Seth when it came to Starfleet Academy, was pursuing a career in medicine. Similar to his school years he found Academy work to be reasonably straight forward and achieved average grades, but found it hard to mix and gel with his fellow students. It was at this time that he found out that he had autistic personality traits. Feeling pretty relieved to finally have some answers as to why he found it so hard to engage with people, Seth graduated from Starfleet Academy and was assigned to the USS Fontana as senior medical technician.

USS Fontana
He was promoted Lieutenant Junior Grade after two years of meticulous work onboard Fontana. His superior officer at the time, Lieutenant Commander Joanne Sharpe, took the young officer under her wing and helped to mould his natural medical talents. After a further two years Seth decided that he needed a change of scenery to assist in advancing in his career, and successfully transferred to the USS Copenhagen as chief surgical specialist.

USS Copenhagen
Onboard Copenhagen he had to taken on fresh responsibilities along with his general duties. Although not reflected in his position’s title, Seth found himself in charge of a team of medical staff. Although the team wasn’t terribly large (seven junior members and crewmen of the medical department), he realised that he enjoyed the responsibility that came with his new role. After only nine months of being onboard Copenhagen, he sought the approval of his superior officer to begin applying for assistant Chief Medical Officer positions. Whilst he understood that he had only been an officer for five years, he felt that he was ready to take yet another step up in responsibility. His superior officer agreed and helped Seth with his applications (and always giving him a glowing reference).

Starbase Illustrious
Seth only spent a short amount of time on Starbase Illustrious as its Assistant Chief Medical Officer. He missed the adventure of being on a starship, and after only two years he started applying for different positions onboard starships.

USS Montana
After another couple of months of waiting for replies, Seth finally got the reply he was hoping for. The Montana was the jewel in the crown of Independence Fleet, and he had received transfer orders to join them as Chief Medical Officer.
