| Personal History | Born in the Federation of Saint Christopher and Nevis to a cleaner and a full-time Manny (Male Nanny) via a Surrogate. Growing up with 2 dads was awesome she knew they always cared and would love her from day number 1 dispute their unique jobs. Growing up on a tiny island in the Caribana sea was cool too she lived in Basseterre in a poor area close to the sea. She found her wish for a role in medicine because of a friend's heart condition, Ebstein's anomaly wasn't serious he just needed a checkup from time to time blood leaking from the valve of the heart seemed unnatural but it could be fatal anytime and that's what she wanted. Her friend's condition was not to be fatal. This pushed her to be her best she strived to earn high marks pleasing her fathers. After completing High School she moved onto College still determined to be a Doctor she learnt a lot about other conditions from the past, present and likely hood of things in the future. Also Psychology she wanted to understand why people do the things they do, why her best guy friend bullied people he had nothing wrong with his family and he didn't do it to fit in through this course she learnt he just did it for fun and so she un-friended him because that was old and belonged in the 21st century. The replacement was a guy studying Cooking in another college on the other side of the city who worked in his Grandfather's cafe he said he wanted to join up with Starfleet if he could figure out about his Mother and Father's missing starship. Nyimbo had little interest in the Army or Poiltices for that matter like the overachiever she was she researched into Starfleet and the Federation learnt a bit about their history and why people joined Starfleet. The major said meeting new life and Nyimbo were quite interested in that she still had a desire to help people but her desire grew to helping people of other races like Vulcans. She made her dad's aware of her wish to join Starfleet not to explore new world but to help those new world's. Regardless her Dad's still loved her regardless of where in the galaxy she was which made her super happy. Through Starfleet, she went through University teaching she made friends and found a love for Boxing joining up with the Starfleet team in her second year though she left the team a year later realising the errors of the ways she left, she learnt through discussing ethics with her dad the babysitter, Ashon Onyejekwe-Babangida that it is better to fight with words and not hands he was quite pleased she took him literally. Her first posting as a Medical Officer was on Mu Lyncis V the almost fancy middle of the galaxy she read, It was just a Hub mostly logistics and cadet training but sometimes's passing ship's needed a Doctor and lucky for them Seria-Gamma Hub had about 3 medical staff mostly it was broken bones from a bar fight on a spaceport they quickly got away from nonetheless her dad's preferred her to stay there much safer, she made trips back to Earth for shore leave though she was left mostly on her own her dads had to work. 7 years of being there it didn't bug here she knew she had to be patient like a Vulcan it was like a test the CMO of the Hub was offered a role on the Blackthorn by an old friend and extended his hand to Nyimbo to join him as his Assistant which she accepted. The Blackthorn was a Constellation class the 3rd to be put into service a brand new ship straight of the factory lines but she stayed true to herself always helping someone when asked or if a shoulder to cry on. Her fathers still loved her but grew worried about the loss of their only daughter but she always calmed their Anxiety. 3 years in the role and she only went up to the bridge for medical emegrcacys with the CMO, she took the test because she wanted to safeguard the lives of everyone on the ship but during the final stage of the test where everyone who took this test before had to sacrifice the lives of everyone she refused to do so still wanting to safeguard people instead of safeguarding Starfleet. It didn't bug her that she failed the test but it annoyed her that that report would possibly stain her future in Starfleet. A few years later she heard a job running spare and her CMO always said she was a better Chief than he was and she told him about the job on Montana and asked if he would sponsor her which he did and she later got approved for transfer. |
